Andrew Heine is an artist, industrial engineer, musician, and designer from San Jose, California. A combat veteran who served in Iraq with the US Marines as a rifle team leader, his art is in many ways a meditation on the inherent co-dependence of beauty and savagery within each human and within all of humanity as its own collective organism. He spent over twenty years in research and development across a variety of industries and is now a full-time student at San Jose State University in the Spatial Art MFA program.
