"Sounds of Silence" is an interactive art installation handcrafted by Queen Cobain, a longevity scientist based in the Bay Area. Debuting at Burning Man 2024, the installation delves into the hidden depths of the human psyche. By illuminating the unseen shadows within us, it invites viewers to confront the unspoken anguish we all carry. The work conveys a profound truth: only by expressing our pain can we begin to transmute it. Each unique face sculpture is cast in plaster from anonymous individuals, accompanied by a recorded stream of consciousness that reveals hidden struggles.
