I am an autodidact continuously in pursue of the next piece of wood, what it will tell me, what it will demand off me, what it will enable me to show. I design and wear outrageous costumes, hold MONOCHROM parties, ran the MENAGERIE art gallery in Redwood City for two years and generally can’t be without making something for too long without going crazy.

Since I can remember I am walking in "A Dream of Smithsonian". Meaning I search for and am fascinated by nARTural history. I’ve collected skulls, bugs, minerals and fossils since I could pronounce paleontology, I participated in archeological digs in my early teens, did geo-botanical excursions in the alps in college, got a degree in biology and have a day-job as a molecular biologist in biotech.

My art is a reflection of that dream. I create ARTefacts and specimens inspired by (natural) histories, real and imaginary once.
