My name is Seraphima Chisler, the artist behind Seraphima's Inkwell Imaginarium! My artwork is whimsical and dark, fun and beautiful. I try to create illustrations out of ink and watercolors that make people smile and want to look closer. I draw, paint, make coloring books, and do commissions. I love to draw and paint things that may be strange and unusual, and things that some may believe in but others just like to look at.

These pieces from my Corsets Through the Centuries are all cut out from watercolor paper. Each piece of lace, each bone and each embellishment is painstakingly cut out with an xacto knife. They are all mounted inside shadow boxes, with each piece at different levels to create depth and a 3D effect that is hard to see in photos.
